VISTA ANNOUNCES ‘THE LONG LIVE TOUR’

LONG ISLAND, NY | JULY 31ST, 2017 - Following the recent release of their fierce sophomore EP “Long Live,” New York anthem rock band VISTA have announced their first headlining tour, “The Long Live Tour.” Combining both arena and electronic influences to create their anthem rock sound, “Long Live” lyrically focuses mainly on forming an allegiance and finding an ‘oasis’ in a dystopian society. Released just last week, the EP immediately made its’ way onto three different iTunes Alternative charts, including peaking at #10 on the top selling $5.99 albums, and the first date of “The Long Live Tour,” a hometown EP release show, was sold out. VISTA will also be visiting 6 new cities on this tour, including Allentown, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Atlanta, Brooklyn, and Boston, respectively. With this record cycle, VISTA also introduces the creation of The Oasis, a metaphorical safe haven for listeners to find comfort and acceptance in through the band’s music and live shows. About the EP, the band states:

“Growing into our sophomore release, we wanted to expand on our simpler beginnings and create a brand, instead of just being a band. The concept for “Long Live” really stemmed from “Henchmen,” which focused on the idea of fighting against the face of oppression in a politically polarizing society. The words “long live” fight against the image of an apocalypse and also mirror where VISTA currently stands. “Long Live” is the product of a lot of frustration and the examination of current events with one goal; to create a sound and concept that has both flare and remarkable depth. The result is something we are immensely proud of and put forward into the world with hopes that we can all fight against the grain in an increasing dystopian society.

Conceived in late 2015, VISTA released their debut 4-track EP “VERSUS” shortly after, in which their debut single “On The Brink” debuted worldwide on idobi radio. Their name hasn’t been shy in the press since; the band has garnered praise from outlets such as Alternative Press, Rock Sound, Substream, and AXS. Since the start of 2017, VISTA has supported Fueled By Ramen artist Against The Current at Irving Plaza, sold out their first two headlining shows, was named one of ‘100 Women Kicking Ass In Music” by Alternative Press, and gained rotation on idobi with their January single “Henchmen,” an anti-oppression anthem. “Long Live” serves as VISTA’s sophomore EP, and the band will embark on their first headlining tour, “The Long Live Tour,” in August to promote. “Long Live” is available NOW.

ÆVES RELEASES NEW SINGLE “LOADED LOVE”

LOUISVILLE, KY | JULY 28TH 2017 - Kentucky alternative pop/rock duo ÆVES band are bringing back to life ‘modern pop’ with their new single “Loaded Love,” out today. Comprised of Molly O’Malley and Matthew Adam, ÆVES takes their usual synth-tinged pop sound and fills it with more organic instruments on the new track. After starting out organically as a simple song originally created by O’Malley on the piano, the organic feel brings ÆVES to a more natural place than their previous releases, which includes the dance-y powerhouse “Wild Hearts.” Although a different approach to their usual niche, the release of “Loaded Love” steers the band in a similar direction, maintaining their pop sensibilities and bringing a personal and intuitive to the genre. About their style, the band states:

“Æves is about vibes. We want people who listen to our music to kind of empathize in a way that makes them happy. We want our music to get someone pumped up, if they’re going to the gym, hanging out with friends, or just driving around. Even when we write the songs and collaborate we have to have a good vibe going and that everyone is on the same page otherwise it’s a failed attempt. Our mission, so to speak, is to make sure the listener (and ourselves) is having a good time.”

In the cold, dark days of Winter 2014, long-time friends Molly O'Malley and Matthew Adam came up with a vessel to let their musical ideas take flight. Molly and Matthew, both accomplished songwriters and scene veterans in their own rights, had become disenchanted with the state of modern pop music. Catchy choruses and hooks abounded, but there was something missing. The radio waves no longer carried the awe, wonder, or human connection that once pervaded the world.  - and with this in mind, Æves was born. Following the successful release of several singles, including the highly regarded "Ignite" in 2016, Æves have done it again - this time partnering with Marc Walloch of AWOLNATION and Grammy nominated Rick Carson - to bring you their catchy new single. “Loaded Love” is available NOW.

LONG ISLAND, NY | JULY 21st 2017 - Comprised of fierce frontwoman Hope Vista and guitarist Greg Almeida, VISTA is keeping their momentum alive with their brand new dystopian-themed sophomore EP, “Long Live,” out TODAY. Combining both arena and electronic influences to define their anthem rock sound, “Long Live” lyrically focuses mainly on forming an allegiance and finding an ‘oasis’ in a dystopian society. The EP’s concept was designed to mirror current political world events. The 7 song tracklist includes previously released singles “Henchmen” and “Allegiance,” as well as a new version of vocalist Hope Vista’s 2015 solo single “Dominance.” With this record cycle, VISTA also introduces the creation of The Oasis, a metaphorical safe haven for listeners to find comfort in through the band’s music and live shows. About the EP, the band states:

“Growing into our sophomore release, we wanted to expand on our simpler beginnings and create a brand, instead of just being a band. ROYAL STREET RELEASES “NIGHT AFTER NIGHT” MUSIC VIDEO

Watch “Night After Night” HERE

“Royal Street discover a balance between funky pop and energetic rock. They do it by combining these two elements along with blending vintage and new styles together create a stunning sound. The band finds their own identity by staying true to themselves and having a whole lot of fun while doing it.” - New Noise Magazine

PROVIDENCE, RI | JULY 10TH, 2017 - Funky pop/rock band Royal Street is back AGAIN with another new summer music video for their track, “Night After Night.” A direct follow up to their debut LP “Flavors,” the band is on a fast momentum, also coming off of their recent summer tour with The Millenium and their previous music video “Make Believe.” “Night After Night” is groovy, fun, and shows the band’s true flair for funky pop music with a rock edge. It displays the band’s energetic live as a colorful short film, highlighting vocalist Viana Newton’s flair and the band’s overall fun exterior. About the song, the band states:

““Night After Night” is another tune that says a lot about what Royal Street is as a sound and a band. It came together quickly and we could tell right away that the song was quintessentially us - fun and infectious, but with just enough attitude to rock the socks off of everyone within reach. It’s the story of a smooth operator, an egotistical player-type, observed from an outside perspective with generous amount of wit and wisdom. One of our catchiest tunes to date, and another fan favorite.”

Royal Street is a pop rock act from Providence, Rhode Island specializing in infectious, funky tunes that can take listeners anywhere - from the modern pop hooks of Maroon 5 or Bruno Mars to the alt-rock sounds of Taking Back Sunday or Paramore. The Royal Street sound appeals to a wide variety of listeners, combining the attitude and energy of hard rock with funky guitar lines and soulful melodies. Within only a few short months of becoming active, Royal Street was selected to play the 2015 Warped Tour (Mansfield, MA), and were also part of their first tour, the "Get Loud, Get Lost" Tour with Marina City in the summer of 2015 which covered 12 states in 12 days and used that rhythm to continue to play shows and grow their fan base, touring throughout the Northeast and Midwest. Their debut LP “Flavors” was released in June 2017. The “Night After Night” music video is available NOW.

California Rock Band Inertia Releases Kingdom Hearts 2 Theme Cover Video

Watch the cover of “Sanctuary” HERE

LOS ANGELES, CA | JULY 2ND, 2017 - Following the release of their debut LP “The Process,” California Alternative rock band Inertia is showing off their skills in their new Kingdom Hearts 2 themed video, “Sanctuary.” The cover video features lead vocalist Dillon Forst playing an array of instruments to create an innovative alternative rock version of the track, originally heard as the theme of Kingdom Hearts 2. Although an original Japanese track, Inertia proves that inspiration and musical talent can transform any track, as Forst used his personal love for the Kingdom Hearts franchise to rearrange “Sanctuary” to fit Inertia’s genre and style. About the cover, lead vocalist Dillon Forst states:

“I wanted a chance to showcase my ability to play all the rock instruments and do a great job covering one of the songs from a franchise that changed my life. Disney, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts helped shape me as a person and a musician growing up. This song will be part of our deluxe album release of our debut album "The Process.” The music was originally written by Utada Hikaru, but I re-imagined it with alternative rock, Inertia and male vocal perspective in mind. I hope this does justice to the Disney, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts Franchises.”

Inertia is an all-American alternative rock band with extreme metal roots. The band was formed to create a new flavor of sound found absent in their local rock music scene. After originally having screams and unclean vocals in the music, the band decided to move away from a style they started out with and maintain an all-clean vocal style. Inertia specifically set out for a sound that contains elements of alternative rock while still having a raw sound that nods to their extreme metal roots. With influences like Thrice, Bring Me The Horizon, Circa Survive, and more, Inertia is poised to bring a big sound to the rock music scene and aims to start touring regularly on a national level. As an up and coming DIY band, it is through sheer perseverance and the will to create that will take Inertia from the humble beginnings of Bakersfield, California to new heights. Their new LP “The Process” is available NOW.

INDIE-POP ARTIST SØF RELEASES NEW FIERY SINGLE “XO”

Stream “XO” HERE

“A great sound from this New Jersey girl, SØF comes across like a true form singer-songwriter but delivers a great deal of pop in her elevated style.” - Coming Up Magazine

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ | JUNE 26TH, 2017 - In the final installment of her six track “Single Series,” indie pop songstress SØF takes risks with “XO.” Stil sassy,  SØF takes a strong stab at fast-singing and rapping in the bridge of the track, revealing yet another layer of her skills and artistry. Although the most unique out of all 6 singles she has released thus far in 2017, “XO” is the best executed; the elements of both indie and pop (think Ed Sheeran meets Charli XCX) flow effortlessly. “XO” contains lyrical risks, flavor, and an infectious chorus that will be stuck in your head for days. About the single, SØF states:

“I wanted to save XO for last in my ‘Singles Series’ because it’s definitely the most different out of all the songs I’ve released thus far. This whole project has been about discovering myself as an artist, defying genres and taking risks, and I think XO encompasses all of those things. I wrote the song over 2 ½ years ago about a rocky relationship I was in. There was so much back and forth that it was driving me insane, and it felt like I was stuck in this never-ending game of Tic Tac Toe where we just kept tying and nobody would give the other person any leeway to win. It comes across as a total diss track, but I also admit that I can’t give up what we have because I’m too invested. It’s a weak part of myself that I exposed lyrically. The bridge portion of the song is where I really tried something new, and I’m glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone with the writing decisions I made. This one’s really special to me, and I’m so glad it’s finally out in the world.”

SØF is a sassy, spunky and unapologetic indie-pop artist with a flair for fast-singing and rapping. Seamlessly weaving between genres by incorporating elements that she's inspired by, SØF has a knack for being eclectic and exceptionally unique. While her onstage persona may be cheeky, SØF is personable and sweet with a passion for philanthropy and giving back. Her soulful vocals combined with her catchy pop hooks and bold lyrics make her a musical force to be reckoned with. “XO” is available NOW.

AMERICAN IDOL ALUM CAMILLE PERUTO RELEASES MUSIC VIDEO FOR “SILENT MELODY”

“This rising star will challenge your definition of what a singer-songwriter can and should be. She is paving a new path with her genre-blending sound and it is brilliant.” - Lemonade Magazine

PHILADELPHIA, PA | JUNE 30TH, 2017 - American Idol alum Camille Peruto is back with a brand new music video for her single “Silent Melody,” a track off her latest LP “From The Sea To The Sky.” Combining elements of folk, pop, and rock, Peruto creates a unique blend of sounds that is both comforting and pleasing to the ear. “Silent Melody” is a stand out track on the LP, due to it’s mainstream capabilities and more pop-based tendencies. Although the track does not contain Camille’s usual folk stylings, it doesn’t fall short. Fit for summer, “Silent Melody” could easily be heard on any pop radio station, and the music video doesn’t fail in creating a perfect, warm visual for this time of year. About the track, Camille states:

“This song was written many years ago. Since I wrote it, I have tweaked the words pretty often. I wasn’t sure if I even wanted it on the album due to fear that it would feel dated. That was until I brought it into the studio. The musicians I worked with were incredible and did something so special with this song, and it feels extremely current. It is probably my favorite song on the album.”

Philadelphia based recording artist and singer/songwriter Camille Peruto creates her music with a melodious blend of pop, rock and folk sounds. With a wide range of influences, her music exudes catchy melodies and unforgettable lyrics. Her debut album, Sparrow, was independently released in 2013. She has headlined many shows in Philadelphia and played famous venues in and along the East Coast, LA and Nashville. Camille has shared the stage with many notable musicians, most recently performing with Tim Reynolds of the Dave Matthews Band. After appearing on American Idol in 2015, Camille began recording her new record, "From the Sea to the Sky". The alternative/pop album has gotten significant recognition, released in early January, 2017. It’s sound is extremely unique to today’s music and offers fresh melodies and profound lyrics to listeners. Watch the music video for “Silent Melody” NOW.

INTERVIEW: A conversation with California rock band Inertia

7/1/2017

Picture
  1. You recently released your debut LP “The Process”. What was the process like creating the album? Is that where the title comes from? Creating this album was a full catharsis . We set out from the beginning to write a relatable rock album that identifies with the struggles of growing up and the process of healing and understanding your surroundings . Writing this record was part of our healing process , especially mine when I was writing the lyrics and piano for the record .
  2. If you could pick only one track that you’d want listeners to not skip over, which would it be? Which carries the most meaning to the band collectively? Face of Defeat pt. 1 or The Run . Those are two heartfelt songs that embody the message of the entire concept album . The band as a whole loves the song The Run .
  3. Do you have any upcoming touring plans to promote the album? We're pushing to tour as soon as September . We'll be posting a go fund me for some major projects we'd like to release in the near future including a world tour .
  4. What’s the band’s next move now that “The Process” is out? Spread the message of positivity through rock music , build a community , tour the world starting out with our Country the United States.
  5. Many bands feel like they are in a constant mode of creation. Are you constantly creating? Oh yes , on the 31st I release a full cover of Sanctuary ( from the kingdom hearts franchise ) and in this video I wanted to show off so I played , recorded and tracked each instrument myself . In addition to that , this weekend we are filming a full band music video of our song “ The Heartless & The Nobody .
  6. Most artists release a string of singles or an EP before putting out a full EP. What made you decide to release an LP over an EP? The fact that most bands do that is exactly why we didn't . I hate when I see another ep or single from a no name band . Nothing screams “ I'm trying but I'm not gonna try my hardest “ then another cliche ep they no one cares about . Too long have I and we gone with mediocre ep’s and albums with a few singles and filler on it . We set out to write a record where you wouldn't want to skip any songs . We wanted to provide diversity and yet keep a consistent sound . We didn't want to release another ep like everyone else . We wanted to produce the album where if you had to choose one album to take with you , you'd choose this one .
  7. Is there anything you’d like your fans to know about Inertia? Get to know us , we wrote this album just for you . Grow up with us . See ya later Space Cowboys ( Cowboy Bepop Reference )

Thank you for your time!
