I am incredibly critical of female lead bands in rock. I will show full support of anyone with a true talent, but I often feel like many just do it because they like the idea of being a rebel. In my opinion, most sound the same and follow in the same routine of over processing their vocals in the studio and thus being disappointing on stage, this being the case all across the board from punk to metal. You have to show me a unique quality in your music and in your tone to make me give you a second thought. |
