Archi Deep and The Monkeyshakers "#3" Album Review

   For fans of The Black Keys and Nirvana, let me introduce you to Archi Deep and The Monkeyshakers. With the release of their latest album #3 in October, they sent it our way for review.

   The opening track “Nowhere Man” really sets the tone. It gives the perfect first taste with its dark undertone, that reminiscent of 90’s grunge.
   Easy flowing rhythms intermingled with jagged guitar riffs, combined with raspy vocals create the eclectic sound you will find throughout the album. 
   Further setting the tone with the next track, which could have easily been found blasting in your headset back in your angsty “punk” days, the band plays a rigid beat, with a bit of falsetto mixed in.
   There’s a consistent old school edge in each track, defining their style. They keep a great groove from start to end, bringing you to the last song without realizing you have been lost in the music for the past twenty minutes. It’s a truly great listen you have to hear for yourself!
