Savage Hands "The Truth In Your Eyes" Album Review

The Maryland post-hardcore band, Savage Hands, are set to release their debut album at the end of the month.
The Truth In Your Eyes is a collection of “truths and lies” according to frontman Mike Garrow. Starting us out with the hard hitting “Memory”, followed by “Braindead” and its biting chorus, Savage Hands set the tone. This album is meant to be heavy! Songs such as “Demons”, “Lonely” and “Bloodshot” all follow suit. They are aggressive musically, with vocal harmonies and emotionally driven lyrics that are formulated to stir angst within a listener. They want you to feel from the music and they made this happen by perfectly pairing catchy riffs and punchy beats that hold your attention with stories of pain, trauma and loss.
Not every track on The Truth In Your Eyes is heavy, except at its very core. Songs like “Rotten Soul” and “Washed Away” tone it down and focus a little more on a melody, showcasing the band’s diversity. They have a talent for giving each song a moment, setting them up to independently stand alone, while also belonging together perfectly. As far as a debut, I would say this is a great one because it shows a dedication to their music by the way they put it together.
Ahead of the album release, the band dropped a new music video for “Blue”. Check it out below!
The Truth In Your Eyes releases on January 31st via Sharp Tones Records.
Savage Hands are joining While She Sleeps, kicking off in Orlando on February 13th!

In the past, it was the tradition when people use to recall their memories they use albums. But now due to the advancement in technology people avoid greeting but they give a text message on WhatsApp. This has destroyed the families and makes them far apart.
