We were sent a small taste of Lakeshore’s upcoming EP 41, due out later this year. Composed of original founding members of Emmure and brothers Ben and Joe Lionetti, along with Shawn Adams, Chris Segovia and Mitch LoBuglio, Lakeshore is set with a foundation built by the extensive background of its members, this being evident in the sliver of 41 we heard. With just three tracks to go by, we can already see that this is going to be an energy packed combination of metal riffs and canorous vocals. Hitting you hard and heavy musically, the smoother vocal style of Adams catches you off guard, but this blend has more of an impact than imaginable. They have constructed tracks that have substance lyrically, as well as giving each instrument a place with not a single member getting lost, showing true craftsmanship. They push a moderately nostalgic sound, while also giving us something new and fresh. With an official music video recently released, leading track “History” is said to be personal to the Lionetti brothers, and the emotion is translated eloquently. It speaks of their history and what is to come in the future. You can check that video out below!
