WILDVIEW "SELF" Debut Single Review

   Brand new to the scene, WILDVIEW from Bemidji, MN have released a debut single "SELF". To be featured on an upcoming album Life Is Life, the track is grungy rock and roll. It has its clean, “radio friendly” moments but hits you with heavier riffs and growling vocals throughout its verses. The chorus has an anthem rock style, combined with headstrong lyrics to complete the vibe. Though not necessarily anything fresh or new, I wouldn't call it generic. It is interesting and catchy enough to grab your interest, exactly something you would hope for a debut single. 
​   If I could compare it to material I have heard before, I would say it carries similarities to melodies and song structures Escape The Fate has put out in recent years. I guess you could say this puts WILDVIEW in the post-hardcore genre, if further releases follow the lead of “SELF”. Check it out for yourselves below and tell us what you think!
