WILDVIEW "My Mistake" Review

   WILDVIEW of Bemidji, MN have released another single from their upcoming album, Life Is Life, "My Mistake". To be honest, I was a little less drawn in by this track than I was with “SELF”. Unfortunately, it felt as though something was missing. I was waiting for that extra punch that was packed in the previous release but was disappointed to find it absent in “My Mistake”.
   To further dissect my opinion, I thoroughly enjoyed the diversity in vocal strengths I heard in “SELF”. I felt as though with “My Mistake” the vocals were generic and lacking that WILDVIEW quality they had showcased in their debut single. Musically, it was just another hard rock song. I wanted to hear some sort of hook that would catch me and pull me in, but I never found it. Personally, I feel they made a good choice releasing “SELF” as their debut, because this release would not have prompted me to come back for more.
   That all being said, I am still looking forward to checking out Life Is Life as a whole when it releases and do still believe WILDVIEW has something good going for them. Listen to “My Mistake” below and tell us what you think
