Industrial rock group Vampires Everywhere have re-entered the scene with their first release since 2012, Ritual. Combining the dark, underworld elements of Marilyn Manson and the grungy undertones inspired by Nine Inch Nails, Vampires Everywhere produced a dynamic rock album. Power riffs and throaty growls blaze through track after track. Kicking off with “Black Betty” a down and gritty rock and roll track, the album continues this stamina all throughout the effort. The tracklist includes a revved up rendition of Hosier’s “Take Me to Church” featuring Chelsea Grin’s Alex Koehler, which we assume is a sardonic jab considering the ode to the creatures of the night mentioned in their name. Taken as a whole, ‘Ritual’ is engaging and if you have yet to give Vampires Everywhere a try, start here. It is a modern sound with hints of many bands you may already love evident, making it a great introduction. Written by: Shannon Rae Watch the official music video for "Perfect Lie" below!
