Roses Unread- "Fallen" Review

1/7/2015

With a sound relatable to Stars in Stereo and Icon for Hire, Roses Unread’s musical style will easily suit any fan in search of a new obsession. I was recently sent a submission of their first single ‘Fallen’ fromtheir upcoming album The Silver Lining, and if it is any consolation as to what the rest of the album will be like, listeners are in for a treat.

The band’s goal is to create music without a specific genre to it, something that will fit a varied spectrum and I personally feel as though they have done a good job carrying out their goal. This track could satisfy anyone from heavy metal headbangers to bouncy pop rock fanatics. Singer Allison Teague’s beautiful vocals blended with heavy strumming and hard core drum beats create a tune that’s fun, yet edgy and will have this song in your stereo on repeat.
