Lacuna Coil

    Cristina Scabbia, being stunningly beautiful and enormously talented, put Italian group
Lacuna Coil on the bill of the Hottest Chicks of Hard Rock tour to the pleasure of anyone attending. Filled with grace and packed with power, Scabbia received hoots and hollers as she stepped on
stage along side Andrea Ferro, her partner in crime. I haven’t heard many duos who sound this perfect together, but their harmony is seamless. Her broad range and his smooth, strong vocals
give Lacuna Coil their unique sound, making it a new musical experience for anyone hearing them
for the first time. The presence they share on stage is a pleasure to observe, their chemistry is undeniable. I was almost in awe of how instep they were, not that they haven’t done it enough
times to have perfected it, but in their case it feels unrehearsed. 
    Along side it’s amazing vocalist, Lacuna Coil host a notable group of musicians. Biazzi and
Miglior’s superb guitar playing and metal riffs fuse with Cristina and Andrea’s melodic vocal
styling, creating the enchanting sound we all love. Their bassist, Zelati and drummer, Mozzati kept beat eloquently and add the ‘hard’ to their rock, producing head bobbing worthy beats. Embracing their music’s stirring rhythms, the entire band was full of energy and zest while on stage, creating
a lively atmosphere.  
    While performing fan favorites, they also played new material from Broken Crown Halo, which is
to be released April 1st.
