Forever Still "Tied Down" Album Review

   With major power in the vocals and brutal beats, Forever Still have forged their debut album Tied Down into a magnificent piece of work. It is a captivating tracklist, mixing the hard rock element of Flyleaf with the enchanting gothic presence of Evanescence to create a style of music that both fires you up and soothes your mind.
  Frontwoman Maja Shining posses the ability to growl and maintain her femininity, a trait you don’t often hear. She has soul to her voice and blast out the lyrics with the perfect amount of emotion in each word, effortlessly getting her point across.  This paired with the aggressiveness thrown down by the musicians, this self-reliant band from Copenhagen, Denmark have created music that makes you feel something new with each track.
   Tied Down is an epic first effort, and with luck, a successful round one that will lead to plenty more of Forever Still.
