Fit For A King 'Slave To Nothing' Album Review

    A friend recently sent me a link to Fit For A King’s “Selfish Eyes”, stirring up the curiosity to check out the rest of their album Slave To Nothing, released back in October. If you are all about some good old, grungy metal core beats I seriously encourage you to check this album out! 
    It is non-stop thrashing from beginning to end. Hearty beats and grinding riffs, along with some down and dirty vocals keep the hype up song after song. The tracklist is heavy lyrically, with references to addiction and loss. The intermingling of Ryan Kirby’s powerful screams with the clean melodies of Ryan O’Leary bring about a back and forth of emotions as it pulls you deeper into the lyrics, while the music following the same blue prints, further absorbs you.
