Far Away Stables- "To Build A Home" Review

2/10/2015

Far Away Stables’ rendition of The Cinematic Orchestra’s "To Build A Home" is very well executed. They added just enough edge without being over the top, but in a way that made it their own. They put enough of themselves and their style to create something new, without losing the emotion and value of the original piece. I felt the rock twist they presented gave the meaning more emphasis. The group knew what parts they wanted to draw your attention to and did so by adding power in such a way that forces you listen.
As I have said before about this band, they play with an emotion that is evidential in their music
and they gave it their all with this track. You can truly feel every word sung and every note played.
