We have recently received a submission of the first three releases to a seven song series entitled City in the Clouds, produced by Dizzy Parker and set to be complete in December. Taking us on a journey, Dizzy is telling a story through his music, each new track like another chapter in a novel. Using the influences he has found in soul and funk music, combined with his history as a hard rock musician, he has put his talents to work in a way to express the emotion of a young man chasing his dreams.
Kicking off with a disco like intro, “Skyscraper” begins the story with acknowledgement of the need to move on. Bigger aspirations have been set and the line
“take me away” is repeated in the chorus, begging for the new journey to start. It has a peppier vibe, encasing the optimism that initially comes with a big dream.
The next track “Backspace” is a more solemn tune, as he expresses the realization of not being where he belongs, but of the hardships of having to step into unknown territory, leaving behind what is comfortable in search of true belonging. It’s a soothing melody, with a relatable message.
“Saying Goodbye”, the third and final track we were sent, has a groovy guitar rift mixed with a rock and roll drum beat. Bringing up the ugly side of following your dreams, Dizzy sings about the harsh reality that not everyone will be supportive and that ‘saying goodbye’ happens more often than not. He adds a edgier tone to drive in the hurt that is felt, while the overall funk of the track showing the need to hold on to the excitement of doing what feels right.
All in all, these first three installments set up the story perfectly. Check out Dizzy on all social media to keep up with the next four releases.

I have also heard the same songs that you have been talking about in this post and they had been really exciting. Now I was wondering to know if there are more songs which are being released so far till now.
