INTERVIEW: HAAS chats new single "Behind Those Eyes"

​Why was “Behind Those Eyes” chosen as your debut single? 
Behind Those eyes was not originally the debut single for HAAS. After recording Behind Those Eyes, we [my producer & I] thought it was just so powerful both musically and lyrically that it became the natural choice. 
How was the name HAAS chosen for the project? 
After years of trying under my given name, Sam Haas, it just didn’t have the impact I wanted. I had been playing around with ideas for months and after Behind Those Eyes was written, I thought about the future. My grandfather was a huge inspiration to me growing up for his musical abilities and wanted the HAAS named to live on through music. 
Are you hoping to add other members to the project in the future? 
I would love to have members added! I love working with others to create an amazing creative work. I want someone to be as interested and in love with everything we have so far before moving forward full-time with people. 
Will you be playing any live shows to promote your new music? 
As of right now there are no live shows booked. Hoping to book some shows soon!
What is your biggest goal for HAAS in 2019?
My goal for 2019 is to release more new music for HAAS and also start playing more shows, gaining new fans and hopefully touring everywhere.
